As the oldest girl of my mother's eleven children (three boys older than myself), I was blessed with a lot of experience helping my younger siblings. From Circle Time and crafts to potty training and attending their sniffles, there was a lot of learning on my part. My passion of children and teaching grew and now, with a baby of my own, I want to give him every advantage of skill, knowledge, but most importantly faith. Yes, I believe in God and He is very important in my life. I give Him any and all credit wherever any good is accomplished.
I especially love teaching. I was homeschooled all my growing years and helped teach the youner children. I remember the warm feeling as I saw the understanding light my sister's eyes as she read her first book, the shout of joy from my little ADHD brother as he finished his math pages for the day, the smiles of my younger siblings as they performed in a little home program. These kind of moments and many more should be captured and preserved in the memory of every mother and/or older sibling. I just want every mother to experience the same fun and joy I do in watching my son grow and learn.
